Career Changer

• G is an IT consultant in his 40s. He no longer wants to continue what he is doing and wants to work more with people and feel that he is giving something back to society.

• Initially he was very unclear about what he wanted to do. Possibly:

  • Set up his own business

  • Buy a retail business

  • Become a teacher

• After 3 sessions he has decided to become a teacher in ICT in a secondary school. He will take a Post Grad Certificate in Education in 2005-6 and go from there to become a full-time teacher.

• As a result of the coaching he now has a firm idea about what he is aiming to achieve, and the route by which he wants to achieve it.
