Stress Coaching is about helping people who have hit a patch in their lives where they feel that they can't cope.

Stress is at its worst a killer. Linked to heart disease, high blood pressure and many other debilitating illnesses, high levels of stress are not healthy.  It can lead to a debilitating state of mind which slows down your ability to deal with everyday situations, at home and at work.

Stress not only affects individuals, it also affects companies. Stress can lead to increased absenteeism and reduced productivity. According to the HSE, stress accounts for almost a third of sickness absence costs in the UK, around £3.7bn a year. Tackling stress and making the workplace a healthy place to work should be the goal of all employers.

That is not to say that all levels of stress are bad, they're not. And indeed we need some pressure in our lives to avoid boredom and apathy. But achieving a healthy level of pressure and avoiding it turning into stress can sometimes be difficult. Coaching can help.

How can it help?

Stress Coaching works because it involves assessing the individual situation and will help  to :

  • Understand the underlying cause of stress
  • Identify approaches to dealing with it immediately
  • Re-programme your approach to life
  • Understand your fears and limiting beliefs
  • Release and build your personal potential
  • Harness the power and mechanics of positive thinking
  • Plan the life you want to live

What does coaching actually involve?

If after this you decide you want to talk to someone about your life and how you can change it, then you can call us or email us to arrange a coaching session.
