It is a 'hands on' practical 'one-to-one' introduction to Health & Safety using risk assessment in your workplace as the theme.

The  workshop lasts one day. Although the course is extremely useful on its own, it can also form one part of the  programme on 'Building an Effective Health and Safety Strategy'.

• Understand the concept of risk assessment and safe systems of work in relation to assessments.

• Consider the methodology of general risk assessments vis-a-vis special assessments.

• Explore in detail the stages involved in the risk assessment process.

• Identify how to manage the safety measures via monitoring schemes.

• Get practice in preparing general risk assessments.
